The initiative’s primary focus is on the decision makers in companies and institutions. The objective: Strengthen the awareness for deeply rooted perceptual stereotypes and their influence on both our communication and our behaviour. In training programs and events, leaders are introduced to techniques to recognize and adjust these patterns.
Along with these efforts, ‘Chefsache’ will raise the issue and encourage a broader public debate by hosting round tables and debates – for instance at conferences and trade fairs. Reaching out beyond today’s executives, the goal is to sensitize tomorrow’s leaders, particularly students and young career starters.
Throughout all activities, the initiative favours a hands-on approach and cross-functional collaboration. A broad societal shift of mind-set can best be promoted by combining insights from industry, science and politics.
